The QuinLED Dig-COB-RGBW-896-160 is a top-tier addressable COB LED strip – with maximum zone density, true RGBW and 24V design. Built as a direct upgrade over common FCOB strips on the market.

Why 160 zones + 896 LEDs/m RGBW is a genuine premium strip

Many FCOB strips on the market work with around 80 zones over 5 meters and significantly lower LED density. This strip deliberately focuses on maximum resolution and light quality.

Double the zone count

With 160 individually addressable zones (32 zones/m, 3.125 cm each), effects can be rendered far smoother and more precisely than with conventional FCOB strips.

Extreme LED density: 896 LEDs/m (RGBW)

With 896 LEDs per meter and true RGBW configuration (224× Red, 224× Green, 224× Blue + 224× Warm White per meter), the result is an exceptionally uniform light output.

This means:

• virtually seamless light surfaces with no visible structure
• extremely smooth color gradients without banding
• significantly higher detail in animations
• professional lighting quality even at static white

True RGBW color mixing + high CRI

The dedicated warm white channel (3000K) enables not just dynamic effects but also high-quality, living room-ready white light without RGB mixing. With a CRI of 93–94 (R9 ~60), the strip is equally suited for demanding ambient lighting applications.

WLED Configuration

The strip is fully WLED-compatible (v0.14 and above) and is configured as follows:

• LED type: SK6812/WS2814 RGBW
• Color order: BGR + W&G swap
• Number of LEDs: 160 (for a full 5m strip)

We recommend using a controller with a reliable 5V level-shifter on the data output – such as our cod.m WLED Controller. The strip is not compatible with 3.3V data signals.

Usage Notes

• Do not run the strip on the roll – heat dissipation is essential
• At power levels above 60W an aluminium profile for cooling is required, otherwise the strip's lifespan will be significantly reduced
• Do not bend around sharp corners
• Ensure no metal contacts the exposed electrical pads
• For 5m a single power injection is sufficient; for 10m dual-end injection is required
• Only cut on the copper pads – cutting anywhere else may damage traces

⚠ Warning: This LED strip is sensitive to short circuits. Make sure it is not installed in a way that allows two points on the front side to touch each other – this can permanently damage individual segments.
